Suge Knight missed court because of a serious car accident that he had where he lost his front teeth.  This is apparently not the first time he missed court, but this time he has good reason.  He is pictured sprawled out on the ground looking like he’s in serious pain.  Always something going on with Suge ever since Dre and Snoop left.  Suge was to appear in court to sue Kanye West over a 2005 shooting at an event Kanye hosted in a South Beach.  He’s suing for the hospital bill and for a diamond earring he lost during the melee.  Suge’s lawyer Marc Bruman made this statement about Kanye West,

“He’s a very adept businessman,” Brumer continued as he spoke about Suge. “He’s a mess, but he’s sharp. Nobody likes Kanye West anymore. Even though he’s still selling millions of records, everybody’s sick of him.”

Huh?!? That doesn’t make any sense, Nobody likes Kanye anymore even though he’s still selling millions of records.  WHF, uh millions of people are liking him obviously.  But I do think people are getting sick of his antics.  But look a Suge laid out like that, almost makes you feel sorry for him.

Sorry all of you Lil Wayne fans, but I think Lil Wayne is plain idiotic.  Even if the following isn’t 100% accurate you’re still an idiot for having these stories about you come out.  First you go to prison and almost get in a fight with someone way bigger than you on your first day.  Now you’re in jail battling someone for your teeth and you loose.  Then you got these prisoners clowning you and you just got there.  It’s gonna be rough for Wayne while he’s in there.  The rapper, who goes by the name of Zero (huh?!?) said this about the battle, “It started off purty good, ya know ya’ll, like Missa Wayne was going off and we wuz letting him wins and all, jus to make him feeled welcome up in here. Den, when thangs started turnin’ ’round, he starts makin’ promises about payments he was in no way deliverin’ on in here…and so out dey come.”  Huh?!?

Philly rapper Cassidy has an OK flow and a sick voice which makes him a good all around rap artist.  There’s some new chick another Superhead who is supposed to have flings with all of these famous people and blogging about.  Kat Stacks is her name, she just comes on the web blasting rappers about what they do sexually this and that.  She said Gorilla Zoe likes to eat ass, the Young Money rappers are broke and Lil Wayne is pimping them on this very amateurish looking blog that she has.  But her big thing is she tells a story of a gal named Stephanie who supposedly had sex with Cassidy in the raw and contracted HIV from him.  Cassidy Tweets back regarding the claim, “Stopactinstupid! (sic) I don’t even know that lil girl… I only f**k with pretty girls… and I still don’t go raw. I’m sick with it, but not like that! That b**ch probably mad she not my type (sic). I’m perfectly healthy, so it can’t be true.”  Well this story is turning into some he says she says shit because here’s what was blogged by Kat Stacks….

The girl’s name is Stephanie and here is what she had to say:

I have some important information about the rapper Cassidy that girls need to know. I met cassidy some time last summer at a concert he was doing in Philly. After the concert he invited me and my friends to play pool with him and his friends then we chilled at one of his homeboys house. The pictures are from this day we met. He wasnt anything less then a gentlemen that day so we exchanged numbers. We talked for a few months and saw each other when ever we could. It was usually at my apartment in Philly. A couple times I drove up and we met at a hotel in Hacknsack NJ. I was never able to go to his house because his babys mother and kids were there. The very 1st time we had sex he didn’t want to use a condom but I insisted. After a while we built up trust and he convinced me not to use one. The BIGGEST mistake of my life. I learned I contacted HIV from him.

When I confronted him about it he denied it but could not hide that he seemed very worreid and admitted to having unprotected sex with other girls he said they were clean. I found out later to from a friend of mine who knows a philly stripper named Porsha that he has unprotect sex with strippers and video hoes on a REGULAR BASES. Well that was the last time I spoke to him ofcourse. I am the biggest IDIOT in the world for trusting and believeing this dirty lying a*s hole. I KNOW it was from Cassidy he is the only one i had sex with near the time and the ONLY one I did not use a condom with.

Well there’s the picture of Cassidy and the alleged gal who got HIV from him, let’s just pray it’s not true.  One we don’t want Cass getting HIV, two that chick is mad busted sun!

Erykah Badu

Erykah Badu has been Hip Hop’s sweetheart for a very long time.  Her weirdness, beauty and soulful voice is somethingwe couldn’t resist.  But Feb 2008 was a terrible year for Ms Badu.  After not coming out with any new music since Sept 2003, she comes out with the album New Amerykah, Pt. 1: 4th World War.  Until then Badu has been known for many things, making a wack album was not one of them.  But after listening to New Amerykah Pt 1 it was terrible.  Only two good songs on the whole album, not really an album more like an EP.  I was disgusted because I’m the biggest Erykah Badu fan in the world.  I even tried to listen to the album over and over to see if it would grow on me.  Nope!  But now here comes her new album New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh out March 30th, 2010.  Ahhhh a refreshing Badu is back again with her soulful Hip Hop inspired music.  She’s sounding a little Billie Holiday-ish on the album.  Very very nice!  The first track 20 Feet Tall is like a 3 minute intro to the album.  Window Seat the second track on the album is very soulful almost jazzy.  Agitation I guess is like another intro with some hot instrumentals.  But the banger on this EP is the song Turn Me Away (Get Munny) is crazy!  With Jr Mafia’s Get Money sample with a soulful music and Erykah’s Billie Holiday-sounding self is off the chain.  The next track Gone Baby, Don’t Be Long is another hot Hip Hop inspired soulful Erykah song.   Umm Hmm is another nice Badu track, sounds very Mama’s Gun like.  Love is like a funk track, nothing special, it’s just OK.  You Loving Me (Session) is Eryka’s attempt at comedy I guess, I didn’t find it very funny, I’ll let you hear it for yourself.  Fall In Love (Your Funeral) is another great song by Badu being very honest about falling in love with her.  Another Biggie sample in here, singing “There’s gonna be some slow singing, flower bringing if her burglar alarm starts ringing.”  Yeah no doubt look at Andre and Common!  Incense Feat. Kirsten Agnesta is some soulful bugged out

New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh

mostly instrumental high Badu song.  Out of My Mind Just In Time is a weird outro that you would expect from Badu.  All in all I give this album like an 85% out of 100.  I would’ve gotten a 95 or 100 if it was a full album.  Almost a classic like Mamas Gun but not enough, get it for only $10.  If you’re in NYC you can probably get it for like $6 or $8 in the village.  Check out her video for Window Seat, the path she walks is the path JFK got shot, the X is where he was shot at. The video was shot Guerrilla style, in one take with no extras.  So the people in the video were just chillin’, LOL!  Damn look at the fat ass on Badu, damn she’s fine than a muh fhuqua!

OK Badu said she was making a statement against “groupthink.”  Groupthink is a way of thinking, those who use the groupthinking ideology try to limit or eliminate conflict from a discussion without properly analyzing the opinions and ideas that were presented over the course of the conversation.  Boy oh boy, there’s going to be some highly mad people behind this video.

Eve signs with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), an agency filled with agents that represents sports, musicians, actors etc.  Some of their agents represent Lebron James and Will Smith.  CAA will represent Eve in all aspects of her career, acting and music.  She has recently acted on shows Glee, Third Watch and Numbers.  Eve’s long awaited 4th album is due out later this year.

Wow, California is trying to legalize marijuana!  In November California’s ballot will have the legalization of Marijuana. Wow, that’s crazy, but Stephen Gutwillig California director of the Drug Policy Alliance is pushing for this.  People are getting tired of wasting police resources, wasting money on the underground that could go directly to the economy.  Stephen needed 434,000 valid signatures to get the ballot, he got over 694,000.  There’s a lot of pros and cons for the legalization of Marijuana like impaired driving going up would be a con, more money into the economy would be a pro.  Less money wasted criminalizing marijuana etc.  But here’s the bad part about Cali legalizing Marijuana as a state.  The FBI, DEA, US Marshals and other federal law enforcement offices can still arrest you because it’s still illegal federally.  Wow, be careful even if it is legalized.

Aw shucks!  We got some quotes from some west coast rappers old and new.  Jay Rock came straight to the point when

he said Ice Cube needs to name names when he’s talking about the new generation of west coast rappers.  We’re almost sure that Cube was talking about Jay Rock when saying the new gen of west coast rappers don’t respect the old west for paving the way (hey sounds like a Cali version of KRS1).  Ice Cube says, “I ain’t naming names at this time, but I’m adding names.  You let me know if you wanna be on the list.”  He has a new a next album coming out called I Am the West (wow!  Really sounding like a cali KRS1) where I’m sure he’s going to go in on all the new west coast rappers.  Kinda like on his 2008 album Raw Footage where he went off on all youngsters.  But the difference was, he really went in on that album with raw lyrics and everything.  For some reason I think he’s going to do the same with his upcoming album too.  But in response to Jay Rock, Cube says, “With that being said, I understand my last few blogs have been talked about in the streets and all over the internet.  I want to make myself clear to all my fans who think I turned by back on the young rappers out here.  No.  I wish every young MC nothing but success, especially the ones from the New West.  BUT, I have a major problem with any mothaf**ka from ANY COAST dissing the Old West…especially me.  I’M SERVING YOU! Now, I a lot of people want me to name names.  Buy the record.  In stores July 13th.”   Whoo hoo!  OK, can’t wait to hear Cube go off in July, we all know beef brings out the best in old skool rappers.  Think Nas and Jay Z.

We’ve talked about Luda’s upcoming album Battle of the Sexes before.  As the album comes along he’s trying to recruit some other artists for his upcoming project.  So far sounds like it’s going to bang.  So far he has Nicki Manaj, Lil Kim, Eve and Trina.  But as he tried to enlist Lauryn Hill to make an appearance, she said no.  Luda sounds disappointed as he tells the associated press, “I think Lauryn Hill is like extremely talented and I can say I did try to do that , it just didn’t work itself out.”  Lauryn Hill hasn’t recorded since the 1998 Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.  Oh well I guess she’s just too busy doing other things.

Diddy is slated to perform on American Idol on Weds March 31st 2010.  He’ll be performing a song from his new album Last Train To Paris due June 22nd.  The song he’s performing is Hello Good Morning features TIand his group Diddy’s Dirty Money group.  Should be interesting, so I guess look out for TI to make a guest appearance too.

Pharoahe Monch is teaming up with Duck Down Records to release his next album called WAR (We Are Renegades).  Monch is a veteran MC that has always made good music and keeps it real never making pop songs.  His most famous joint is “Simon Says,”  a song he got sued for using a Godzilla movie sample in.  Monch says about his new partnership, “I’m incredibly excited about my upcoming release W.A.R. (We Are Renegades) and my new partnership between my company W.A.R. Media, LLC, and Duck Down Music. I am working diligently to finish the work for a summer release and I am honored to join forces with the Duck Down family during their 15 year anniversary.” Man doesn’t that sound like the yearbook answer huh?  But any way the new album is going to have featured artists like Vernon Reid, Jean Grey, Styles P and Black Thought.  Sounds like another hot album from Monch, his last album Desire back in 07 was very good, not great though, but a solid album.  We look forward to another solid effort and hopefully more with the line up he has so far.

DMX crazy ass is going to jail for violating his probation by coming up positive for weed.  Uh you’re a rap star should’ve you have a way to be a damn piss-test son?!?  All of this because he neglets dogs and has a bunch of weapons.  He is not only going to jail for 6 months, he also has to get psycic evaluation.  Yeah no doubt from his actions lately he really needs it.  But I guess he’ll be OK it’s only 6 months, maybe the jail time will give him some more writing material.  DMX has been arrested 5 times since 2007, that’s too much get a grip X.

Whatever you say about Rick Ross, he doesn’t pay his child support, his baby moms is a whore pornstar, you can never say he makes wack music though.  He’s not the best rapper but he always seems to make good songs as a whole.  Remember Every Day I’m Hustling?  Damn that shit was hard!  But now he has this song with John Legend called Sweet Life, sounds pretty cool and laid back.  John Legend lends an R&B hand on the track.  This song is the first single off of his upcoming 4th album, Teflon Don.  No release date but Ross says this will be the album of his career.  Check the song and let me know what you think.  On the real if you see some of his latest pictures, he needs to loose a lot of weight, he really looks like a nasty fat pig lately.

50 Cent straight went off on Rick Ross by showing a porn video of one of his baby moms in video he posted on his site.  He dressed up as a pimp calling himself Pimpin’ Curly.  Funny as hell, I don’t know what he has against Rick so bad, but he’s really going off on him.  Check this out now, the woman in the sex tape is filing a law suit against 50 claiming a violation of property rights.  Sounds like she’s going to loose because if you own something and make a video about it doesn’t sound like a violation to me, but whatever.  50 responded by saying: “Let me tell you the ill part. A person tries to say that you’ve done a mental harm to them. Then they might want to consider the recordings of Rick Ross saying that she’s an actual call girl or the pamphlets that I’m showing in the tape, that’s saying that she’s available. So how distraught is she that a tape went out?  They think I bought the tape, I didn’t even buy it.”  Check the video clip below, it says you can see the full video on boobootv.com or thisis50.com but I looked and didn’t see it.  On thisis50.com the removed it for violation or something.  But this clip should be enough, the gal is fine too, I guess she needed money and made a porn movie.
