He raps about what he knows, what he sees, and what he does. Twenty-nine year old Lorenzo Roberson, also known as Diego Heat, was raised in Joliet, Illinois. Growing up, he was inspired by some of the realest rappers, including Scarface and 8ball & MJG.  Diego Heat’s music touches on issues in life that he has faced or is facing now and may still be dealing with. His lyrics will make you think and vibe more than make you dance. 

 He is currently working on his first solo project entitled Hustle Boy: Grindmode, set to be released in July of 2009. His first two singles within this project are entitled Buried Alive and Fresh.  They reflect his past, present, and future grinds.  “God put me in this struggle and forgot that I was in it. So, I hope that He remembers when I’m praying for forgiveness,” is just a sample that you’ll get from Diego Heat’s truly touching music.  It will inspire any hustler on any level, from a street grinder to a legit hustler working a 9-5. Buried Alive  will be the first release on the new label Beautiful Minds; this label was created by Lorenzo Roberson and his brother Darius Roberson.

 As long as Diego Heat is six feet above ground, he will always have something to write and rap about. He’s not a guy who will hold up his chain while taking flicks or rap about his swag. “If I have to rap about my swag then my swag isn’t swag,” stated Diego Heat.
